For eight generations, the Tenuta di Blasig has been making wines from the vineyards of the coastal Isonzo Valley.
While the consumer desires for wine and the art of winemaking has changed over this period, there are certain things that have been passed down across the generations- what we call the “Domenico Blasig dictat”.
• Respect the traditional grapes- Malvasia and Refosco have been a maintain in our vineyards since the founding and they will always be the should of our estate.
• Respect the land- your family’s future depends on stewardship of the land.
• Respect diversity- not all wines should taste the same and not all vineyards give wines that taste the same, respect these facts.
